My expectations
The story impressed me greatly! It's a perfect story for holidays and it's a very good example for everyday life! I think The Gift of the Magi is one of the best works written by O. Henry!
I supposed that this story will be about a friendly family who are preparing for Christmas! Moreover, this story is about true love and how to make another person happy!

I'm pretty sure, this story is a wonderful choice. I also have read it and I like it so much. It is full of positive emotions, Christmas spirit, love, respect, self-sacrifice and warm feelings. I'm convinced, everyone can find something to be taught in it!=)
